Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Node.js + TypeScript Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building scalable and efficient backend services using Node.js and TypeScript with Testcases. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Implement RESTful APIs.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Ensure that applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications.
  • Implement data storage solutions (SQL and NoSQL databases).
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in backend technologies.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ Years of experience in backend development using Node.js.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and its modern features.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
  • Understanding of server-side templating languages and modern authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Knowledge of Git and version control systems.
  • Experience in writing unit and integration tests using tools like Jest or Mocha.
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deploying Node.js applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MySQL and MongoDB databases
  • Experience with building RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs
  • Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
